Yes. You download and play Fabels for free on Android and PC. You earn coins and items purely by playing.
No. You can play Fabels fully as a normal game. The crypto economy is there for players who want to truly own and trade what they earn — but it's never required.
No. The model is play-and-own: value comes from playing, building and trading — not from paying in. There is no presale and no promise of profit.
The economy is live on the Base network. The design is non-custodial: you hold the keys to your own property. FabelGold, the item NFTs, the marketplace and crafting are all deployed on-chain.
Yes. Every account has an embedded, self-custody wallet generated on your own device. You can reveal the private key and import it into MetaMask on Base at any time to hold your own keys.
Resources and items are ERC-1155 NFTs on Base. Gathered materials — five woods and twelve ores, each tied to its biome — are minted straight to your wallet as you chop and mine, gaslessly. You then craft gear by burning FabelGold, only in-game through play. You trade it all for FabelGold on an on-chain player market where a small fee is burned on every sale.
Yes. The whole world is divided into plots, and each one is a real NFT on Base — you own that exact spot and can build on it. Only the town centres are reserved for the studio; everything else can be owned by players. You buy a plot with ETH on the land page, and prices scale with location.
Yes. Land trading happens in-game, priced in FabelGold: resell a plot to another player, or rent it out for a set time while keeping ownership (the renter gets build-rights until the rental expires). Every land trade pays a 10% tax to the treasury. The ETH from first-time land sales is added to FabelGold's liquidity pool, which is what gives the coin real, cash-out value.
Usually not. Code updates arrive as a small package at launch. Only when large new content (like new 3D effects) is added does the game ask you to install a fresh app version — and it tells you clearly when that's needed.
Yes. Fabels has online multiplayer on a dedicated server: the same world, in real time, together.
Android and Windows PC today, each with controls tailored to the device.
No. There is no shortcut you can buy that beats time and mastery. Your strength comes from your skills across the whole game.
